Helen E. Kudamik, 93, of Renfrew, passed away Saturday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

Born in Butler on Feb. 4, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Elizabeth Elias Fetzko.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church. She also was a member of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association and she formerly served as the association's secretary and treasurer. In addition, she was a former volunteer at St. Michael School Cafeteria.

She is survived by one son, John E. Kudamik and his wife, B. Joyce, of Butler; three daughters, Joanne E. Vaughan and her husband, Charles, of Butler, Jeannie Kaib and her husband, Keith, of Butler, and Patricia Blanchard and her fiancé, Scott Thompson, of Petrolia; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John P. Kudamik, who passed away March 6, 1963; three brothers; three sisters; and her son-in-law, Jeffrey Blanchard.

KUDAMIK — Friends of Helen E. Kudamik, who passed away Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, will be received in Martin Funeral Home, 429 Center Ave., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, Butler.Burial will take place in St. Michael’s Cemetery.The Bereavement Group of St. Michael the Archangel Parish will meet at the funeral home at 3 p.m. Tuesday to conduct a scriptural wake service.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to VNA Inpatient Hospice, 115 Technology Drive, Butler, PA 16001.Information also is available at www.martinfh.net.
