Edward P. Vincent, 83, of Butler died Thursday.

He was a graduate of Grove City College and Harvard Business School. He ran his own sales organization for years in the refractory business. Later, he helped to develop the family Computerland stores in the Pittsburgh area.

He was the beloved husband of 57 years to Sophie Harwood Vincent; the father of three sons, Mark Vincent and his wife, Marj, of Florida; Gregory and his wife, Kate, of Tennessee and Shawn and his wife, Christina, of Butler; grandfather of Candice, Miles, Eric, Brittany, Dean and Alex; and great-grandfather of Julianna, Amelia, Caroline and Owen.

VINCENT — There will be no visitation for Edward P. Vincent, who died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, and the family funeral service is private.Arrangements are entrusted to Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E.
