Deborah Mudler Holmes
Deborah Mudler Holmes, 48, of South Carolina left this world to continue her journey on Wednesday.
Debbie was born June 23, 1964, in Pittsburgh, to Helen (Tootie) Davidson Mudler and Michael F. Mudler.
She graduated as valedictorian from Scottsboro High School in Alabama and received a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Alabama, Huntsville. She went on to have a very successful career with BellSouth/AT&T for the past 25 years.
Survivors include her husband, Robert W. Holmes of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; her mother, Helen Mudler West of Greensboro, Ga.; her father, Michael F. Mudler (Judy) of Greensboro, N.C.; brothers, Michael D. Mudler (Deb) of Florence, Ala., and Mark Mudler (Vicki) of Huntsville, Ala.; her nephews, Michael, Josh and Jacob; her stepbrothers, Robert West (Shirley) of Fayetteville, Tenn., and Charlie West (Sandra) of McDonald, Tenn.; stepsister, Teresa Dunn (Jerry) of Pensacola, Fla.; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins who loved her dearly.
HOLMES — A memorial service for Deborah Mudler Holmes, who passed away Wednesday, Oct 3, 2012, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at the Lakepoint Community Church, 940 Harmony Road, Eatonton, Ga., with Pastor Rob Raynor officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to ASPCA (800-628-0028) or the charity of your choice.Arrangements are entrusted to Wheeler Funeral Home, Covington, Ga.
