Terry Lee Ralston of Newport News, Va., relocated to his new residence with our Lord Jesus Christ on Sept. 25, 2012.

He was born in Grove City on April 13, 1956, to Ernest Ralston and Harriet “Hattie” Pierce Ralston.

Terry was a 1974 graduate of Moniteau High School and received an associate degree in architectural drafting and design in 1982 from Triangle Technical Institute of Pittsburgh. For 30 years, he worked at Newport News Shipbuilding as a senior production planner in nuclear overhaul and engineering.

Terry is survived by his daughter, Nichole Hoerl of Vandergrift; grandchildren, Obanyon Melik, Hunter Lucas and Sayde Gerry, all of Vandergrift; longtime friend and brother, Dale Fouse of Hampton, Va.; brother, Ronald K. Ralston and his wife, Sue, of West Sunbury; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Donna Mae Slomer and Wilda Lou Wallace; and a son-in-law, Darrell Lee Hoerl.

RALSTON — The services for Terry Lee Ralston, who passed away Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, were private and in Virginia.
