In loving memory of my father Aldo Migliorini who passed away November 3, 1982

It has been 30 years since you passed away,

You’re in my thoughts each and every day.

I think of you before I sleep each night,

And then again, with dawn’s early light.

I’ll never forget all the good times we had,

For the good times, they out weighed the bad.

My memories of you, I keep locked in my heart,

With all my love, even though we’re apart.

I think of you in silence,

And your name I often recall,

But there is no one left to answer,

Except the picture on my wall.

Beside your grave I often stand,

My heart is tired and sore.

But through all the gloom,

There comes these healing words,

“Not dead, just gone before.”
