Richard O. Williams, 86, of Evans City passed away Thursday morning at North Hills Health and Rehabilitation, Wexford.

Born Nov. 16, 1925, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Frederick O. and Helen Swatser Williams.

A Protestant, he was retired from ATT Lucent Technologies.

Richard served in the U.S. Navy on the U.S.S. Price during World War II.

He was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

Surviving are his wife, Frances H. Korherr Williams; one daughter, Regina Williams of Butler; one son, Frederick O. Williams of Connoquenessing; and one grandson, Cy Neely.
