Howard W. 'Bill' Fisher

Howard W. “Bill” Fisher, 63, of Saxonburg, formerly of Florida, passed away Wednesday at the home of his aunt.

Born Nov. 22, 1949, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Viola Fisher.

Bill served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He graduated from Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville, Fla., with an Associate of Science degree in respiratory therapy and lived in Florida for many years working as a respiratory therapist. He was a member of the St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Saxonburg.

Surviving are two aunts, Helen (Jim) McLafferty of Saxonburg and Hazel Fern of Saxonburg. Also surviving are nine cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

FISHER — There will be no visitation for Howard W. “Bill” Fisher, who passed away Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012. Graveside services were at the St. Luke Cemetery, Hannahstown Road, Cabot, with the Rev. Roger Keller officiating.Memorial donations may be made to the Visiting Nurses Association, 154 Hindman Road Butler, PA 16001.Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg, assisted with arrangements.Information also is available at www.foxfuneralhomeinc.com.
