John “Woody” Woodhall, 80, of Gibsonia passed away suddenly on Monday.

He was the long-time companion of Carole A. Siford; father of John M. Woodhall and Julie Woodhall; stepfather of Justina Wright; and brother of Marion Robertson and the late William Woodhall. Also surviving are four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Woody proudly served his country in the U.S. Army in Germany during World War II, serving as a truck repairman. He continued this work as his career.

WOODHALL — The service and interment are private for John “Woody” Woodhall, who died Monday, Sept. 24, 2012.
