Elizabeth Scott

Elizabeth J. Scott, 80, of Middlesex Township, Valencia, died Sunday afternoon at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born in Philadelphia on June 13, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Matthew and Anna Diver Cooke.

A homemaker, Mrs. Scott was a member of the St. Thomas in the Fields Church in Gibsonia.

Surviving are a daughter, Janice Scott-Fish of Ashburn, Va.; and two sons, Kenneth Scott and his wife, Georgine, of Mars and David Scott and his wife, Margaret, of Akron, Ohio. She was the grandmother of Meghan, Erin, Lauren, Jason, Connor, Darrick and Caleigh; sister of Robert Cooke and his wife, Ann, of Brookhaven, Pa., Susan Scott and her husband, Thomas, and Hannah Johnston, both of Sharon Hill, Pa., and Margie Smith and her husband, Roy of Warrington, Pa.; and sister-in-law of Marge Cooke of New Jersey and Agnes Cooke of Sharon Hill, Pa.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel T. Scott, who she married July 14, 1951, and who died on Sept. 29, 2005; her sister, Ann Dunn; her brothers, William and Matthew Cooke; and her sisters, Marion, Winnie and Kitty.

SCOTT — Friends of Elizabeth J. Scott, who died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012, will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ronald Baillie, pastor of the St. Thomas in the Fields Church, officiating. Burial will be in Mars Cemetery, Adams Township.Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 100 W.
