Mary Louise Gardner Watt, 82, of Butler passed away at 3:57 p.m. Wednesday at Community General Hospital, Harrisburg.

She was born Oct. 26, 1929, in Butler, to the late Robert Hawson Gardner and Loretta Josephine Angert Gardner.

Mrs. Watt was a homemaker. She was a lifelong member of the Community Alliance Church, where she served as a deaconess.

Mrs. Watt is survived by three daughters, Cynthia Dettore and her husband, Donald, of Pensacola, Fla., Kimberly Watt-Allison and her husband, James Dickey, of Slippery Rock and Valerie Dinger and her husband, Chris, of Harrisburg; two sons, Kris Watt and his wife, Lisa, of Union City, Pa., and Kurt Watt and his wife, Melissa, of West Lafayette, Ind.; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Ewing Watt Jr., who she married Oct. 10, 1952, and who passed away March 13, 2012; a stillborn infant son; six brothers; and six sisters.

WATT — Friends of Mary Louise Gardner Watt, who passed away Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012, will be received from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler. Funeral services will be immediately afterwards at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. John Lashuay, grandson of the deceased, officiating.Burial will take place in the Greenlawn Burial Estates.Memorial donations are suggested to the Community Alliance Church, 800 Mercer Road, Butler, PA 16001, or to Our Daily Bread-RBC Ministries, P.O.
