William “Bill” Brod Blackham, 46, of Freedom passed away Monday.

Born July 11, 1966, in Pittsburgh, he was the beloved son of Marjean Ann (Brod) Blackham of Gibsonia and the late George James Blackham.

Bill proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and answered his country's call to duty making multiple deployments overseas. He was a passionate outdoorsman who relished mountain biking, hiking and hunting with his brothers and uncles at the camp his father built.

He was a man of strong faith who was a proud member of the Christ Bible Church in Cranberry Township. But above all, he cherished the time spent with his children. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Kimberly Blackham of Freedom; his four loving children, Luke, William, Victoria and Rhema Blackham; his six stepchildren, Zacc Dray, Steven Dray, Ryan Dray, Melissa Paden, Aaron Dray and Robert Doyle; his two brothers, George Blackham and Daniel Blackham and his wife, Lisa; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

BLACKHAM — A celebration of life memorial service with military honors for William “Bill” Brod Blackham, who died Monday, Sept. 10, 2012, will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Christ Bible Church, 2721 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bill's honor directly to his family.Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.Online condolences and directions are available at www.glennkildoofuneralhome.com.
