Well today it’s been 4 years since you left to be with our Lord and Savior. Although I know you’re eternally happy, not a day goes by that I don’t miss you. I miss your smiles, your beautiful eyes, your hugs and the way you would get that quirky smile on your face when you would joke with me and push my buttons. I miss everyday you came into this life until the day you left. So often I wish I could pick up the phone just to hear your voice. You were my first born and we experienced all the firsts together. It’s so hard to accept that you’re no longer physically here with me, but I know you’re always in my heart in spirit. Many times I’ve wished I could go back in time and say the things that I didn’t get the chance to say. I am so lost without you and there’s an emptiness within me that can never be filled. However I have faith in knowing when my time comes you’ll be the first one I see to take my hand and lead me to my eternal home. I love you my son and I miss you more than I can ever express in words. I will keep looking forward to the day when we can be together again....
