Audrey Lucille Lucas Robinson
Audrey Lucille Lucas Robinson, 76, of Harrisville passed away Tuesday.
Audrey was born in Erie, on June 27, 1936, to Chesta Klingensmith and James Harrison Lucas. When Audrey was 6 months old, the family moved to Mercer.
As a child, she attended Cape Horn Grade School and Stoneboro High School. Audrey graduated in 1954, which was the last graduating class from Stoneboro High School. She then attended IBM School and worked as a key punch operator at Westinghouse in Sharon.
After discovering a love for cooking, Audrey attended culinary school and spent the remainder of her working years as a chef in various restaurants. Audrey’s generous heart was always known for feeding anyone who came to her door.
Audrey is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years, Paul L. Robinson of Harrisville. She also is survived by four children, Cathy A. Robinson of Erie, Debby D. (Bruce) Rea of Slippery Rock, James H. (Jennifer) Robinson of Harrisville and Larry A. Robinson of Huntington, Ind.; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Virginia Filer and Pauline Hale; and a brother, Paul Lucas all of Mercer.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert Lucas.
ROBINSON — Visitation for Audrey Lucille Lucas Robinson, who passed away Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012, will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, at Cunningham Funeral Home, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City.
The funeral service will be at 7 p.m. at the funeral home immediately following visitation. Burial will be at Harmony Cemetery, Harrisville. The Rev. Jeff Jones, pastor of Harmony United Presbyterian Church, will preside.
