Madeline J. Klink
Madeline J. Klink, 87, formerly of Germaine Road, Butler, died early Saturday morning at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.
She was born in Butler Nov. 21, 1924, and was a daughter of the late Jack and Helen Shoup Bowlus.
A homemaker, Madeline was proud to have contributed to the World War II efforts by working as a telegrapher for Western Union. She was a member of the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
She was the widow of Edwin M. Klink. They were married Nov. 14, 1951, and he passed away Feb. 7, 2002. She also was preceded in death by one sister, Susan Holko.
Surviving are a son, Matthew R. Klink and his wife, Denise, of Dumfries, Va.; one granddaughter, Nicole Klink; one sister, Joan Kappler (Robert) of Butler; and one brother, Calvin Edinger (Mildred) of Butler.
KLINK — Friends of Madeline J. Klink, who died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler. The interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.St. Paul's Catholic Women and Christian Mothers group will recite the rosary at 9:40 a.m. Wednesday at the church.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
