Clara Louise McFeaters, 95, formerly of Clintonville and Barkeyville, died at 7:05 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Living Center, Grove City.

She was born Oct. 9, 1916, in Kittanning, to Frank V. Morter and Maude A. (Larrimer) Morter.

She attended Grove City schools.

Along with her husband, she owned and operated the former Oak Grove Farm Market of Barkeyville for more than 50 years. She was a member of the Barkeyville United Methodist Church and a life member of Harrisville American Legion Auxiliary.

She was married to James E. McFeaters Sr. on April 11, 1935. He died on May 23, 1998.

Surviving are two sons, Donald L. McFeaters and his wife, Sandy, of Harrisville and Richard L. McFeaters and his wife, Sylvia, of Craig, Colo.; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Margaret L. Alcorn; four sons, Franklin E. McFeaters, James E. McFeaters Jr., Robert D. Mcfeaters and Roger D. Mcfeaters; one sister; and two brothers.

MCFEATERS — Friends of Clara Louise McFeaters, who died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012, will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Jamison Funeral Home, 117 N. Main St., Harrisville.A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Richard D. Marshall, a Baptist minister, officiating.
