Beverly J. Crawford, 83, of East Brady died Thursday at Bradyview Manor in East Brady.

Born March 21, 1929, she was the daughter of John A. and Maude L. (Reighard) Beabout.

A 1948 graduate of East Brady High School, she married Harry L. “Roy” Crawford on March 5, 1949.

Bev was a lifelong devoted member of First Presbyterian Church in East Brady. She served on the Funeral Dinner Committee for many years.

She was also a member of the American Legion Post 408 Auxiliary.

She enjoyed baking and gardening, and spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bev is survived by her husband Harry L. “Roy” Crawford of East Brady; three daughters, Barbara C. and her husband James Mortimer of East Brady, Laura M. and her husband Larry Hogan of East Brady, and Katherine and her husband Michael Dailey of Queenstown; and one son, Steven L. Crawford of East Brady.

She also is survived by four grandchildren, Jeff Hogan and his wife, Melissa, of East Brady, Jacob Dailey and his wife, Tracy, of East Brady, Sarah Dailey of Cincinnati and David Hicks of East Brady; six great-grandchildren, Haylee, Natalee and Kimberlee Hogan and Emma, Hanna and Jaxxson Dailey; one brother, William Beabout, and one sister, Gloria Riechart, both of East Brady.

Bev was preceded in death by her parents; 13 brothers; five sisters; one granddaughter, Jennifer Hicks; and one great -granddaughter.

CRAWFORD — Friends of Beverly J. Crawford, who died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church of East Brady. The funeral services and burial in Bradys Bend Cemetery will be private.

The Crawford family suggests memorial contributions be made to East Brady Ambulance, P.O. Box 325, East Brady, PA 16028, or to East Brady Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 129, East Brady, PA 16028.

Arrangements are under the direction of Buechele Funeral Home, East Brady.
