Lt. Col. Peter Uram of Butler, who died Sunday, was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Snyder Uram, who died April 2, 2007. Also preceding him in death were his son, Gary Uram, and his siblings, John W. Uram and Mary Ann Mackin.

He is survived by a sister, Alice Gilson of Cherry Hill, N.J., and several nieces and nephews.
