Virginia C. “Jeanne” Diller, 78, of Buffalo Township passed away peacefully Tuesday at her home.

Jeanne was born in Freeport, Dec. 25, 1933, the daughter of the late Elizabeth (Huth) and Charles H. Coward.

She was the widow of David R. Diller Sr., who passed away in 1963.

She worked as a bus driver at W.L. Roenigk in Sarver for 35 years. Jeanne also worked for a number of years at Liberty Mirror.

She was a member of the St. Mary, Mother of God Church in Freeport. Jeanne enjoyed bowling, playing cards, traveling and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her five children, Kimberly A. (Rick) Sasse of Butler, David R. Diller Jr. of Buffalo Township, Donald (Monie) Diller of Buffalo Township, Charles Diller of Buffalo Township and Patricia J. Gorski of Buffalo Township. She also is survived by her nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her three brothers, Charles, Russell “Bud” and Francis “Cokey” Coward; and four sisters, Catherine Borghini, Anna Mary Stanton, Dorothy Finley and Betty Jane Coward.

DILLER — Family and friends of Virginia C. “Jeanne” Diller, who passed away Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Redmond Funeral Home, 524 High St., Freeport.A parting prayer service will be in the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Friday and will be followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in the St. Mary, Mother of God Church in Freeport. Father Raphael Glinkowsky will officiate. Burial services will be at Mt.
