In loving memory of Shirley Smith who passed away six years ago.

We never got to say goodbye that night we got the call,

We never thought we’d bury you, never imagined it at all.

Never thought that we could make it through one day, one month, one year,

And somehow times has flown by and now six years is here.

Everyday has been a struggle a constant reminder that you’re gone,

Even hearing you’re in a better place still makes it difficult to move on.

You know how much we love you and we know you’re always near,

Until we see your smiling face our memories we’ll hold dear.
