Dr. William L. Groft
GROFT — Friends of Dr. William L. Groft, who died Saturday, July 28, 2012, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church, 125 Buttercup Road, Butler, with the Rev. George J. Palick officiating. The burial will be in the Butler County Memorial Park.
The St. Fidelis Parish Bereavement Committee will conduct a parish prayer service at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Officers and members of American Legion Post 778 and VFW Post 249 will conduct military services at Butler County Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Butler Community College Foundation, 107 College Drive, Butler, PA 16002, or to the VNA Inpatient Hospice, 115 Technology Drive, Butler, PA 16001.
