Donald Lee Puller
Donald Lee Puller of Redmond, Wash., formerly of Butler, died April 17.
He celebrated his 90th birthday in Redmond on Feb. 26 with 50 family members and friends. A memorial service was there on April 21.
Born in Walla Walla, Wash., on Feb. 28, 1922, Mr. Puller was the son of Jesse L. and Hannie E. Silver Puller.
He moved to Butler in the early 1950s and worked in the composing room of the Butler Eagle until his retirement in 1987. He was an accomplished organist and served as a minister of music for North Main Street Church of God and Calvary Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Kathie Meeder of Virginia and Becky Kelly of Washington; a son, Dennis of Mercer; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
PULLER — Donald Lee Puller died Tuesday, April 17, 2012. His family and friends will gather to bury his ashes at the West Sunbury Union Cemetery, West Sunbury, at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 18, 2012.
