Visitation set for soldier killed in action
CRANBERRY TWP — Visitation for the Evans City soldier killed in action in Afghanistan will be this weekend at the Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry.
Staff Sgt. Eric Holman, 39, was part of a U.S. Army explosive ordinance disposal unit when he was killed by an improvised explosive device on Aug. 15.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the funeral home, 2678 Rochester Road.
He will be buried with full military honors at 2 p.m. Monday at Mt. Nebo Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
The U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team will perform a memorial service in October at the Grove City Airport, though no date has been set.
Holman was a former member of the Golden Knights.
