In loving memory of my Mom, Mary Warner who left this world one year ago on Aug. 19, 2011.

I held you hand just one year ago,

Saying “good-bye”, watching you go.

A pain gripped my heart that still aches today.

Even my tears won’t take it away.

They say in time the pain will heal

I can’t even imagine, because how I feel.

No night light flickers across the yard

Not hearing your voice, that is hard.

No encouraging words to help me through

I miss your beautiful smile, too.

You were the best Mom, ever

Oh, how I wish we could be together.

I sadly miss you every day

And love you more than words can say.
