Cranberry Twp forces Game 5
CRANBERRY TWP — Brian Gasser limited Mars to one run on four hits while striking out seven and walking one as Cranberry Township forced a fifth game in the Eagle County League semifinal series, winning Game 4 by a score of 4-1 Thursday.
T.J. Zarewicz had two singles and two RBIs to lead Cranberry. Brad Johnson singled twice and drove in a run in the victory, Justin Patsilevas singled and doubled and Bill Clinefelter had one RBI.
Brendan Malone singled and scored a run for Mars.
Mars’ Rob Fester pitched six innings, striking out six and walking none.
The decisive Game 5 will be played at 6 p.m. today at Marburger Field.
