Tractor Square Dancers to strut their stuff
The Delaware County Tractor Square Dancers will perform free shows Friday in the arena. The dancers drive 1950s John Deere and Farmall tractors.
The Delaware County Tractor Square Dancers from Delaware County, Ohio, will perform two free shows at 7 p.m and 9 p.m. Friday in the arena.
The group is made up of eight men and women dancing as couples.
The dancers drive 1950s John Deere and Farmall tractors that are dressed in pants for the men and skirts for the women.
The dancers promenade, allemande and complete turns on the 3-ton tractors.
Performances usually last 30 to 40 minutes.
The group began in 1993.
