BUFFALO TWP — Rain washed out racing for the second consecutive week Friday night at Lernerville Speedway.

Fab Four Racing, along with the Joe Pitkavich Memorial and the “Cowboy” Brian Steinman Benefit Auction has been pushed back to Aug. 3.

Only four Fridays of racing remain on Lernerville’s 2012 schedule. The last scheduled night of FabFour racing is Aug. 24.

Another postponement inches Slippery Rock native Dave Murdick toward a Modifieds points title, as he owns a 10-point lead on Brian Swartzlander.

Kevin Schaeffer maintains a seven-point edge over Rod George in Sprints and Corey McPherson has set the pace in the Sportsman division with a 25-point cushion over Jim Fosnaught.

Jared Miley is running away in the Late Models standings, thanks to a 75-point advantage on John Garvin Jr.
