Zelie continues ban out outdoor burning
ZELIENOPLE — The borough mayor on Wednesday issued a second proclamation banning outdoor burning because of drought-like conditions.
Mayor Tom Oliverio re-issued the proclamation on the same day the old one expired. Under borough ordinance, he must issue a new order every seven days.
The text of the proclamation is the same as the last one issued a week ago. Under the order, anyone found violating the ban can be fined $300.
