Steven W. Russo
In loving memory of Steven W. Russo who would have celebrated his 50th birthday on July 23
We would have celebrated your 50th birthday, and I am sure we would have had a gathering of your friends and family. We would have talked about old times and had many laughs and you know we would have made a few ‘jabs’ at Dad just to keep everyone laughing. Mom’s cooking would have been great as always and the time spent together would have ended too soon.
But no candles were blown out and no celebration, only the memories of the times of a distant past. We think of you every day and at times find ourselves mistakenly looking to call you or reach out to you. It’s funny, we just can’t seem to delete your cell phone or email address. The routine “as they call it” seems to have settled in and life goes on. You will never be forgotten and always cherished within our hearts. We know justice will be served and we continue to ask for God’s blessings and forgiveness. It’s funny how people want to push God out of their lives and then question why our society is so corrupt and violent. We know someday we will meet again, until then, we miss you, and miss the times we would have had on this birthday celebration. God Bless.
