Dorothy I. McDonald, 77, of Sarver passed away Thursday at her home.

Born Dec. 22, 1934, in Brackenridge, she was the daughter of Howard and Grace Beaumont Frederick.

Dorothy was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

Surviving are her children, Larry (Linda) McDonald of Saxonburg, Grace (John) Zacherl of Butler and Debra (Robert “Butch”) Negley of Sarver; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George McDonald, who died Nov. 27, 2006; one infant son, George; and one brother, Harry Frederick.
