BlueSox get past Chillicothe
Neal Jacobs belted a three-run homer to highlight a four-run sixth inning to lift the Butler Blue Sox to a 7-6 Prospect League victory over the Chillicothe Paints Thursday.
George Roberts had a pair of singles and scored three times, Jason Radwan added a single, double, two runs and two RBIs and Brendan Constantino two hits to pace the Blue Sox (3-0), who sit atop the Eastern Division standings for the second half.
The Paints were led by Kevin Zak, who had three hits including a double and three RBIs. Mike Nadratowski recorded a single and double.
Nick Lombardi and Aaron Hopper had two hits apiece for the Paints (1-2), who committed four errors.
Chillicothe will host Butler today at 7:05 p.m.
