Phyllis J. Zellefrow Wendell-Reichard

Phyllis J. Zellefrow Wendell-Reichard, 82, of Worthington died Sunday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Aug. 21, 1929, in Worthington to the late Arthur O. Zellefrow and Sarah Belle (Snyder) Zellefrow.

Phyllis grew up in Zilly's Grove with her father and her aunt and uncle, Isabel and Lawrence Zellefrow. She attended Worthington School. She made her home in Coylesville for many years and then moved to the Freeport area. She recently moved back to Worthington.

She was a homemaker and a member of the North Buffalo Grace Brethren Church. She liked crocheting and making afghans, reading, visiting with family and friends and shopping on QVC.

She is survived by her daughters, Sherry (Robert) McCue-Stillwagon of Chicora and Dona Vensel and her fiance, Raymond Toy, of Worthington; grandson, James (Bonnie) Vensel Jr. of Apollo; granddaughter, Jackie (James) Claypoole of Ford City; grandson, Jeremy (Jennifer) Vensel of Ford City; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Betty Klugh, Louise Reed and Mildred Goldstrom; her aunt, Isabel “Nanny” Zellefrow; and her first husband, Kelly Wendell.

WENDELL-REICHARD — Friends of Phyllis J. Zellefrow Wendell-Reichard, who died Sunday, May 20, 2012, will be received from 5 to 9 p.m. today at F. DUANE SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, Worthington. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with additional visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Pastor Donald Breghenti will officiate. Burial will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates.
