Denver “Denny” H. Brocious, 69, of Cabot passed away Tuesday at his home.

Born April 6, 1943, in Natrona Heights, he was the son of Clifford and Pearl Brocious.

He retired from Allegheny Ludlum in Brackenridge as a transportation and railroad supervisor. Recently he had been a security guard for Summit Elementary in the Butler School District. Denny loved his job at Summit and looked forward to interacting with the students and staff each day.

He was a member of the Natrona Heights Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed golfing with his wife and taking overnight golf trips with her and their friends. He also loved spending time at Myrtle Beach, going on fishing trips and spending time with his four-legged buddy, Molly.

Surviving are his loving wife of 15 years, Phyllis (Sugajski) McKinney Brocious; three children from a previous marriage; three stepchildren; 16 grandchildren; his mother-in-law; one brother and one sister and their families.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one stepdaughter, Cindy Lou.

BROCIOUS — A memorial service for Denver “Denny” H. Brocious, who passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2012, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Natrona Heights Presbyterian Church, 1428 Broadview Blvd., Natrona Heights, with the Rev. R. Cameron Malcolm officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Denny Brocious Memorial Scholarship, The Golden Tornado Scholastic Foundation, 120 Campus Lane, Butler, PA 16001, for the education of those students less fortunate.Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg is assisting the family with the arrangements.Information also is available at www.foxfuneralhomeinc.com.
