Carol M. Stockman, 81, of Mars, Adams Township, died Monday evening in the comfort of her home.

Born in Pittsburgh on Jan. 5, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Carolyn Siegfried Miller Sr.

A homemaker, Mrs. Stockman was a member of St. Kilian Church, where she had been a member of the Christian Mothers.

She was a graduate of Butler County Community College with an associate degree. Carol enjoyed swimming, playing cards with her girlfriends and any activities with her family.

Surviving is her loving husband of more than 61 years, Robert “Bob” Stockman Sr., who she married on June 17, 1950; two daughters, Lynn Fey and her husband, Joe, of Valencia and Pat Stockman of Mansfield, Ohio; three sons, Robert Stockman II and his wife, Linda, of Pittsburgh, John “Jack” Stockman of Mars and James “Jim” Stockman of Mars, PA; grandchildren, Bridget, Megan and Paul; great-grandchildren, Rafferty, Maggie and Owen; and her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathleen Stockman, and three brothers, Oscar Jr., Arion and Paul Miller.

<B>STOCKMAN — </B>Friends of Carol M. Stockman, who died Monday, May 14, 2012, will be received at the <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Kilian Church, corner of Clark and Cherry streets, Mars, with the Rev. Charles Bober, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Mars Cemetery, Adams Township.Memorials may be made to the St. Kilian Church Building Fund, 7076 Franklin Road, Cranberry Township, PA 16066, or to the Sisters of St. Francis, Stella Niagara Provincial Offices, 4421 Lower River Road, Stella Niagara, N.Y. 14144.Directions and condolences are available at www.mcdonald-aeberli.com.
