Sarah Bryce Jones Ketterer, 99, of Zelienople passed away on Sunday at Creek Meadows in Zelienople.

Born Dec. 28, 1912, in Mifflin Township, Allegheny County, she was the daughter of the late Allan and Jeanie (Allford) Bryce.

She was a lifelong member of the Church of the Nazarene, where she was pianist for 75 years in the Terrace and Zelienople churches and a member of the church choir. Mrs. Ketterer was a charter member of the Portersville Keenagers, a former member of the Ellwood City Chorale and a past PTA president in the former Muddy Creek Township School District.

She was a loving mother and is survived by four children, Charles Jones (Bonnie) of Clearwater, Fla., Lois Jean Knauf (Arthur) of Lisbon, N.Y., Duane T. Jones (Ethel) of Renfrew and Allan R. Jones (Sharon) of Zelienople; 19 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren;, 32 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous step-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles K. Jones, who she married Oct. 8, 1930, and who passed away July 14, 1981; her second husband, Glenn F. Ketterer, who she married June 10, 1995, and who passed away April 21, 2000; two brothers, James and Allan Bryce; her stepmother, Lillias Bryce; one grandson; and three great-grandchildren.

<B>KETTERER — </B>Friends of Sarah Bryce Jones Ketterer, who passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2012, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Gary Smith and the Rev. Glenn Eagle officiating.
