Taylor Sharer singled twice, tripled and scored two runs in Saxonburg’s 12-8 win over Butler City in Butler County legion baseball play Thursday at Highfield Park.

Sharer also earned the victory on the mound, striking out a pair in two innings of relief.

Also starring at the plate for Saxonburg (3-2) were Mac Megahan with two singles and a triple and Zach Koller with three singles and a run scored.

Butler City was led by Josh Friel, who had a single and a pair of doubles. John Milligan added a two-base hit.
