Horse rescued from Pa. pool
HILLTOWN, Pa. —Police in Hilltown Township, Bucks County, and other emergency responders rescued a horse trapped on top of an in-ground swimming pool cover.
The 1,200-pound quarter horse got out of his stable and ended up in the family pool Thursday.
Police arrived to find the horse lying on his side on top of the partly submerged pool cover and in shock.
