• Cody Herald tossed a four-hitter as East Butler remained undefeated with a 7-2 win over Saxonburg in Legion action Thursday.

Herald struck out eight in seven innings of work.

Dustin Kepple and Chris Cotton each had two hits for East Butler (3-0).

Josh Sheppeck had a pair of hits for Saxonburg.

• A.J. Barnett had a triple, Travis Thompson a double and Zach Milligan two singles to lead Butler City to a 12-7 victory over Zelienople.

Josh Friel, Darren Selfridge and Alex Ziegler also added hits for Butler City (2-2).
