BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. — Joe Boros of Treesdale Golf & Country Club carded a 67 and Rob McClellan of Butler Country Club a 69 to finish second and fourth, respectively, among pros at the Pete Dye Golf Club Pro-3 Amateur Wednesday.

John Aber of Allegheny Country Club led all pros with a 65.

SV teams return to action Friday

The Seneca Valley boys lacrosse and boys volleyball teams will both be in action Friday on the campus of Chartiers Valley High School.

The Raiders’ boys lacrosse team (16-1) will face Shady Side Academy (9-8) in the WPIAL Division I title game at 8 p.m. at the football stadium.

The boys volleyball squad will battle Bethel Park in a WPIAL Class AAA consolation game at 6 p.m. at the high school. The winner earns a spot in the upcoming state playoffs.
