BUTLER TWP — Christ Community United Methodist Church and the Butler Township Municipal Authority are offering a free bike and helmet giveaway for children and youths.

Applications can be found by visiting www.butlertwp.org or www.christcommunityumc.org.

The bikes will be given away from noon to 3 p.m. June 2 at the Butler Township Municipal Building, 290 S. Duffy Road.

Beginning Tuesday the Butler Public Library will operate under the new schedule of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays.

The YWCA of Butler will sponsor a bus trip to Presque Isle Downs and Casino in Erie leaving at 8 a.m. from Moraine Point Plaza and returning at 5:15 p.m. June 21.For reservations, call Margaret Hoffman at 724-282-4454 or the YWCA at 724-287-5709.

ZELIENOPLE — The Passavant Retirement Community Reader's Theater group will present its spring show at 2:30 p.m. June 8 and 7 p.m. June 9 at the Scholl Auditorium in the Olde Main building on the Passavant Campus at 401 S.
