WARREN, Ohio — Slippery Rock resident Brett Rinker took first place at the latest Golf Week Junior Tour event, held last weekend at Avalon Lakes Golf Club.

Rinker managed a two-day total of 147, besting 19 other golfers in the 16-19 age group.
