David “Bubba” C. Bethke, 54, of Butler passed away at 10:45 a.m. Monday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

He was born Feb. 7, 1958, in Butler to the late Otto Bethke and Mary Moncey Bethke.

David was a carpenter and a bartender in the Butler area.

David is survived by one sister, Mary Edgar and her husband, John, of Franklin, Tenn., and two nephews.
