Edna Mae Stevwing
Edna Mae Stevwing, 75, of Valencia, Middlesex Township, passed away Saturday at UPMC Passavant Hospital, McCandless.
She was born Feb. 7, 1937, in Pittsburgh, to John Schweiger and Margaret Schmidt.
She was a homemaker and a cafeteria worker for the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf in Oakland. She was affiliated with the Clinton Presbyterian Church in Valencia.
Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Robert W. Stevwing, who she married April 29, 1955; her children, Robert W. (Mila) Stevwing Jr. of Yuma, Ariz., Randall A. Stevwing of Valencia, Russell W. (Betsy) Stevwing of China Grove, N.C., Regina A. (the late James) Logue of Freedom and Kalyn D. Stevwing of Valencia; one sister, Claire Boyd of Troy Hill; 14 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Raymond W. Stevwing; a daughter, Marie A. Stevwing; two brothers, Jack and Paul; and three sisters, Margaret, Veronica and Christine.
STEVWING — Visitation for Edna Mae Stevwing, who passed away Saturday, April 14, 2012, will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the
Kyper Funeral Home, 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jason Sinagra, pastor of the Clinton Presbyterian Church officiating.Interment will be in Mt.
