Josephine L. Miles Vivian, 90, of Zelienople, formerly of Tarentum and Freeport, passed away peacefully Wednesday while under the care of the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.

Born Nov. 10, 1921, in Irvona, Clearfield County, she was the daughter of the late Amos and Pearl (Reish) Miles.

Mrs. Vivian enjoyed volunteer work at her retirement center and Meals on Wheels, and she was an avid Pirates fan.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Russell Vivian; her two sons, Russell D. Vivian and Daniel Vivian and his wife, Donna; four grandsons; and two great-grandchildren.
