July 16, 1981 - April 28, 2005

As the sun rises and crests the horizon,

It paints the world with the colors of love.

The blue sky of loyalty and friendship;

The fragrant earth as deep brown as your eyes.

Rich greens and lavenders sing songs of your gentleness;

The crimson of happiness we felt at your birth, our first son.

You were mischief, loved fun, shades of orange and red;

The deep royal blue of your strength and compassion;

And the grey of sadness; the tears in our eyes.

Yellow sunshine for the joy, you shone on our family;

Brightest of all, is the bright white, your faith in God’s Grace.

Forever remembered for the color of love you brought to out lives.

And felt as the touch of soft fingerprints left on our hearts.

We love you and will always miss you.
