Robert J. Dodds Sr.

Robert J. Dodds Sr., 87, of Industry passed away peacefully on Friday in Heritage Valley Sewickley surrounded by his beloved family.

Born Aug. 6, 1924, in Butler, he was the son Harry and Uldine Nicholas Dodds.

A graduate of Butler High School, Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II. He was with the 557th 1st Division Artillery touring the European Theatre.

Bob retired from Mobil Chemical where he was a professional truck driver.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Tess Dodds, in 2007.

He leaves behind a loving family, children and their spouses, Randall and Joan Dodds of Calcutta, Ohio, Robert and Terry Dodds of Peters Township, Denise and Michael Caffro of East Liverpool, Ohio, and Deanna Dodds of Ohioville; grandchildren, Randall Dodds, Cindy Cross, Lindsay Dodds, Laurel Legg, Michael Caffro, Matthew Caffro, Breanne Kalinoski and Jessica Kalinoski; great-grandchildren, Zachary and Hannah Dodds; and a sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Bill Tishey of Butler.

<B>DODDS</B> — Friends of Robert J. Dodds Sr., who passed away Friday, March 16, 2012, will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the <B>D.L. WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME,</B> 848 Midland Ave., Midland.A funeral service celebrating Bob's life will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Beaver.Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery Industry where he will laid to rest beside his cherished wife. Full military rites will be presented by American Legion Post 481 Midland.
