Betty Victoria Gutherie, 84, of Butler passed away Wednesday at the Chicora Medical Center.

She was born July 27, 1927, in Rimersburg, the daughter of the late Carl Samuel and Violet (Watterson) Gutherie.

Betty was a member of the Evans City Church of God. She was owner of Gutherie and Associates Accounting and Notary Public Services. She was very devoted to her business. She was a licensed pilot. She enjoyed playing guitar and singing.

Surviving are her son, Dana (Rebecca) R. Miller of Butler; seven grandchildren, Vicki A. McBurney, Nicki L. Fragale, Dawn K. Loverick, Dana C. Miller, Angela C. Kretzler, Leslie J. Porter and Matthew J. Miller; 13 great-grandchildren; and four great-great- grandchildren.
