Pauline Christner

Pauline Christner, 101, of Cranberry Township, formerly of Pine Township, died Wednesday evening at the home of her grandson and his family, Michael, Suzanne, Nolan and Christopher Golden, with whom she lived for the past 10 years.

Born in New Eagle, Washington County, June 22, 1910, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth Bovi Vigliotti.

A homemaker, Mrs. Christner was a member of the Mars United Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Shirley Golden of Freedom; a son, Robert Christner and his wife, Janet, of Texas; a daughter-in-law, Gail Christner of Mars; three sisters, Margaret Brody of Monongahela, Elizabeth Moreski of Ohio and Angel Teddodo of Monongahela; seven grandchildren;, 12 great-grandchildren; and one great- great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William P. Christner Sr., who she married on Aug. 15, 1936; a son, William P. Christner Jr.; and 10 brothers and sisters.

<B>CHRISTNER</B> — Friends of Pauline Christner, who died Wednesday, April 18, 2012, will be received at the <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday.
