Veon sentencing date postponed
HARRISBURG — The sentencing of former Pennsylvania state House Democratic whip Mike Veon for his second corruption conviction has been pushed back to May 23.
His sentencing was originally scheduled for today.
Veon was convicted of multiple offenses last month in connection with the diversion of state money from a nonprofit that he once ran in Beaver County.
