<b>GARDEN MAN</b> — Author and radio host Doug Oster will give organic gardening advice at the annual Butler County Home Show.
More than 100 exhibitors to be featured

The Butler County Home Show set for this weekend at the Family Sports Center on Route 68 in Connoquenessing Township will feature more than 100 exhibitors.

The Earth Day weekend event will offer visitors advice on home improvement, decorating and landscaping projects over three days filled with exhibits, seminars and demonstrations to educate and to entertain, as well as share information, advice and inspiration.

Show hours will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Admission is free on Friday. Admission on Saturday and Sunday will be $5 each day for adults and free for children age 12 and younger.

Show highlights will include demonstrations from The Home Depot, organic gardening advice from author and radio host Doug Oster, and Ask the Vet sessions with Dr. Ann Herschl Cirillo of Seven Fields Veterinary Hospital.

The Home Depot's “hands-on” how-to clinics are set to run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, and noon to 3 p.m. Sunday.

Topics will include flooring, electrical, molding, composting, gardening and tool selection.

Oster's organic gardening workshop will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, covering the growing of everything from flowers and ornamental shrubs to fruits and vegetables, without the use of chemicals.To mark Earth Day weekend, the Pennsylvania Resources Council will collect cell phones for recycling and tips for “green” home and lawn care.Coupons for $2 off admission are available at the Home Depot locations in Cranberry Township and Butler.In addition to the Home Depot, the show is sponsored by the Butler Eagle, Armstrong and Bottom Dollar Food.For information or to print a $1-off admission coupon, visit the Home Show online at www.ButlerCountyHomeShow.com
