Bowling tourney resumes
Butler County bowlers have begun to make their presence felt just two weekends into the 73rd annual PSBA state tournament at Butler’s Family Bowlaway and Zelienople’s Freeway Lanes.
Mike Coyle and Tim Malis stand fourth in doubles handicapped thus far while Leyland Johnson is fourth in singles handicapped and seventh in singles scratch with a 683 series.
Bill Swarmer is fourth in all events handicapped. Swarmer and Bill Olszewski are fifth in doubles handicapped.
State tourney leaders follow. The tournament resumes this weekend after taking Eastern weekend off. Entries for the tournament remain open until June 1.
